There will be a Hiring Hall test given on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Local 48 Hall, 647 N. Main Street in Akron. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and testing will
begin promptly at 6:00p.m.
There is a five-dollar ($5.00) non-refundable testing fee due at the time of testing, cash payment only. If you do not pay the fee you will not be eligible to take
the test, which will then result in a failure. Applicants should also bring photo identification in order to take the test.
All Hiring Hall applicants are given three (3) chances to pass the Test. If you have failed the test twice before this, either because of previous testing score or failure
to show, this is your last chance!
The use of calculators and reference materials is prohibited. You will have one (1) hour to take the test.
If you have not filled out an application, you will need to fill one out before testing. Please bring the appropriate information.
Dates for future tests will be before the regular Local 48 General meeting of each quarter, January, April, July, October. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with testing
starting at 6 p.m. The meetings are held the second Monday of the month. Check the Local 48 website for location. You must take the test at least once in a
calendar year (not counting 2020) but can take it twice in a year with only one counting toward your three chances. Only one mailing will be sent per year, but
reminders will be posted on the website.
Please RSVP at least 5 days before the date that you are planning to take the test, so enough materials are available.
